| | Hey guys, I hope all is well. It's been seemingly ages since I wrote in this blog, and part of the reason I haven't gotten around to it is because I haven't been able to come up with "real content." Well, actually, that's not totally true -- since the last time I wrote, I've vacationed in Europe, moved to a different part of the country, and started a new job...and really, all of those things have been a reason why I've been a bit busy to write. But recent events around the world have reminded me that what I've done lately in my own life is comparatively unimportant anyway, so I'd rather write about those things instead. With the death toll in Myanmar already estimated at 25,000 (according to the Myanmar government) and potentially growing to some multiple of that, I hope you'll consider helping out people who need money more than we do. Every major charitable organization is helping out in the relief, and you can contribute to the charity of your choice here:

http://www.google.com/myanmarcyclone/I know work can be pretty stressful and all (I certainly feel that way sometimes), but at least we all have a place we call home and we're able to put food on the table. Look at this as an opportunity for you to do something awesome today and give help to people that actually need it. Also, remember that your donations are tax-deductible, and the people in Myanmar definitely need your money more than the IRS, even if they don't ask for it literally.
